The striking and stylish Broil King Sovereign XL 90 has everything you could desire in a barbecue. With a generous cooking space and built in rotisserie, you can achieve professional results with minimal effort.
Central to the outstanding design is the built-in premium rotisserie. A rear 5.25kW stainless steel burner unit stretches the length of the barbecue, evenly heating the whole rotisserie and eliminating the need for the main burners to be left on. This avoids any flare ups or sudden changes in temperature, ensuring your food is cooked evenly every time. Meat, fish and even tofu will baste evenly as it rotates, and any excess fat can be collected in a drip tray to be used in sauces, gravies, or even on potatoes for extra flavour. Due to the power of the back burner it is recommended that you brine any pork and poultry before placing it on the rotisserie, as this will achieve moist and tender results.
The spacious grill has a primary cooking surface of 3,870 square centimetres and is perfect for entertaining. The warming rack gives an extra 2,580 square centimetres of cooking space and keeps items warm before serving. The high heat of the main grill is ideal for searing steaks, while the porcelain warming rack cooks evenly enough to cater for tastes ranging from rare to well done. The stainless steel Flav-R-Wave vaporising system ensures there are no flares, the gas burners evenly distribute heat over the grill area, and there are four stainless steel dual-tube burners to ensure there are no unexpected hot or cold spots.
The main body of the oven is made of Therma-Cast aluminium with a stainless steel wrap. It heats up rapidly due to the13.2 kW stainless steel Dual Tube burner system, controlled by 180° linear-flow Sensi-Touch valves. The Sure Lite electronic ignition system fires up at the touch of a button, while the heavy-duty lid heats up rapidly when closed.
The narrow recessed shelves are perfect for condiments and spices, and the stainless steel cabinet below the oven conceals a purpose-built recess to hold your gas tank.
