Cooking outdoors is all about discovering new tastes, flavours and experiences. From UK meats and vegetables to exotic fish and fruits, getting out the barbecue is a chance to really experiment with new things.

Grilling is a year-round event. Springtime brings us out in the garden to smell the fresh flowers and herbs once more. Summer is a fantastic time to get out, get grilling and drink a few cold cocktails. Autumn offers us Halloween parties and fancy dress, perfect for baking potatoes and sausages. In the dead of winter, huddling around a roaring grill fire gets everyone out of the house and breathing in the cold fresh air. It is the best mood booster for those long winter nights and it is all about knowing that something delicious is waiting for us on the grill.

Barbecuing with dried herbs is the quickest and easiest way to add flavour and excitement to your cooking. Simply take the dried herbs and add them directly to the hot, burning charcoals in your grill. The aromas fill the air instantly and are absorbed into whatever is being cooked at the time.

If you have green fingers, cooking with herbs is relatively straightforward in summer. It is necessary to ensure your herbs are precisely - but not overly - dried, which is the trickiest part to get right. After this you just need to know which herbs combine to make the desired smoked flavours you are looking for, which can take time to achieve through trial and error.

This is why we have prepared the complete blend of perfectly dried Mediterranean herbs for your barbecue and grill. Ready made and sealed in an airtight 250g bag, these herbs have a range of uses. Simply sprinkle directly on the grill, barbecue or stove top smoker, or blend 50/50 with oak dust for a delicious smoked chicken. That is all there is to it - delicious herb-infused grilling!
