The smoker is made of thick steel and is quite heavy but it will hold the heat well. I have to say the smoker is much better than it appears in the pictures and I am very impressed with it. I would also like to say that the service from UK fine foods has been excellent and I will definitely be buying from them again. I ordered the smoker on Sunday and it was delivered by UPS on Tuesday.
