For grilling that is as controllable in the garden or on the patio as it is in your kitchen, the Toronto XXL Charcoal BBQ Grill is an ideal choice. Outdoor entertaining for larger parties has never been easier than a barbecue using this American-style grill cart. When assembled, the barbecue grill is 145 cm wide, 68 cm deep and 120 cm high.
With a grill surface extending to around 70 cm x 46 cm and a handy warming rack, you can cook plenty of steaks, sausages, chicken legs or anything you like to feed your guests. The height of the grill is adjustable, with six different levels between the coals and the rack of the grill, which means that you can choose the ideal temperature for your food.
Optionally, the lid of the Toronto XXL can also be used to enclose the grill, effectively creating a convection oven that will help to cook the food evenly all over. Even air circulation is ensured by the air vents, and these also keep the coals burning whilst the lid is closed. The thermometer that is built into the lid helps you to monitor the temperature of the barbecue. This enables you to keep it at the correct temperature by adding more coals as necessary.
In addition to grilling, the Toronto XXL can also be used as a smoker. The flue in the lid allows fumes to escape whilst the food is smoked over hickory chips or whatever flavour of smoking chips you prefer. You can select from a wide range including cherry, Hickory, and apple to give your food a unique flavour.
The two side shelves on the barbecue are very useful extra surfaces for keeping bread, sauces and uncooked food handy. They each have four utensil hooks on the side to hang your tongs, forks and slices, and there is also a handy bottle opener. The shelves conveniently fold down when not in use, making the barbecue grill more compact for storage.
The Toronto XXL is easy to move thanks to the two wheels on one side. It can be tipped and wheeled like a wheelbarrow to wherever it is needed in the garden, or it can be stored away when it won’t be needed for a long period of time.

Large versatile grill area and easy to use with the range of adjustments offered. Excellent value for money.. Only thing not included is a cover which are widely available.

Certainly looks impressive with huge grill area (easy to clean grills). Used only once so far but worked well and look forward to testing it further. Seems to be good value for the money!
Incomplete and awkward
4 5 01 June 2020 by:PeteArrived on time ans ordering was excellent. However the instructions are difficult to follow and even incomplete - it suggests that there are plates screwed to the main lid. This is not correct and in fact has to be done manually but the required nuts are not included... as one person 45 minutes add 2 hours on to that and you might be nearer. Some of the metal was also bent making fitting difficult.

5 5 18 July 2018 by:Ken JudgeAlthough it said you needed two people to assemble, I managed it by myself (but definitely NOT in the specified 45 minutes!). On completion, you get a decent piece of kit for under £200 with features normally found on more expensive units (thermometer, rise-and-fall charcoal tray, warming rack, full size ashtray drawer, etc.). One slight niggle is that the position of the pivot on the flue baffle means that it swings shut every time you raise the lid. All in all though, really glad I bought this.
